The LibreTexts team is excited to announce a new, in-person LibreFest to be held at Hope College situated in the beautiful downtown area of Holland, MI, just minutes from the shores of Lake Michigan and less than an hour from Grand Rapids, from Monday June 27 - Wednesday June 29. Other local attractions include the only working Dutch windmill in the United States, several area beaches and hiking trails, Big Red Lighthouse, Meijer Gardens (Grand Rapids), Michigan Adventure theme park (Muskegon), Bowerman’s Blueberries, Farmer’s Market, nearby downtown Saugatuck.
LibreFest features three full days of teaching and working sessions covering how to create a textbook, create other learning resources, and how to use the ADAPT homework system. Workshop participation will be expected from Monday, June 27 at 8 am through Wednesday, June 29 at 5 pm. Full or partial travel reimbursement will be available for all participants. Attendance is limited to approximately 20. Registration available here.
Community health measures (e.g., masking, testing or vaccinations requirements) will be in place, as circumstances and venue dictate.

The LibreTexts team is also happy to announce that this year's annual LibreFest will be held virtually on July 18, 20, and 22, 2022. Sessions will begin at 8am PST/12 pm EST. This virtual, hands-on workshop will provide three half days of teaching and working sessions covering how to create Open Education Resources (OER), how to modify existing OER to build textbooks and other learning resources, as well as how to use the new ADAPT homework system. Participants will be expected to prepare for the meeting in advance with materials provided by the LibreTexts team. By the end of the week all participants will have created, or adapted, an OER that can be used, or further modified for their future courses.
The registration fee for this workshop is $10 which includes a t-shirt.
