Getting to Know: Jason Moore

Hello, LibreTexts followers! It's that time again! This week LibreTexts would like to introduce you to Jason K. Moore, an assistant teaching professor in the College of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Davis.

Jason's teaching and research interests include multibody dynamics, biomechanics, and engineering education. He is very active in the Scientific Python community where he is a core developer of the SymPy and PyDy projects. He has mentored numerous Google Summer of Code students over the last decade and hosts the UCD College of Engineering's JupyterHub for their computing courses. Jason is also the architect behind the LibreTexts JupyterHub. He is currently an editor for both The Journal of Open Source Education and The Journal of Open Engineering.
